Do you send holiday cards? These are just a few (!) of my favorite elegant, charming, modern, colorful, and funny Christmas cards.

Which do you like best?

If you see any you like, please be sure to click on the links and visit their shops – all of these designers have more to choose from, and in many cases, 2013 calendars. And they may be having Cyber Monday sales, too…

Spring by Satsuma Press

Lynn Russell of Satsuma Press has added Spring 2012 designs to her shop. Aren’t they pretty?

Lynn’s designs are exceptionally delicate and sophisticated. They are a such special treat to give or (if you’re lucky!) to receive in your mailbox.

You can get the mixed set of four for $20 in her shop, and while you are there, be sure to look at all of her other designs. You might also like this beautiful children’s bird wings craft she shared on Martha Stewart’s Crafts Dept. blog.

I admit it. I’ve been poking around for holiday cards. Heck, I even have a 2012 calendar already (couldn’t help myself).

These are a few of my favorites:

Have you seen any cards you love?

Favorites: Cheree Berry’s Dear and p.s. Cards

Cheree Berry (formerly an Associate Art Director at Kate Spade in NY) designed these clever and gorgeous letterpress Dear and p.s. cards (with the p.s. foil stamped on the envelope). Sold as a set of six cards and six enclosures.

Spotted via Simple + Pretty. Promptly purchased at Greer.

I cannot wait to use these. The p.s. enclosure cards demand that you use them creatively.

Dee and Lala Press

Dee & Lala Press is one of my personal favorites. Unique, charming designs.

These plywood wall art designs ($49.95) are new to their shop – aren’t they lovely?

Take a look at some of their letterpress cards:

Lettuce Celebrate!

“Take two … (and call me in the morning)”

“Thank you”

“Happy Birthday (Hope your day doesn’t blow)”

They don’t have it on their website at the moment, but last winter, they were offering this letterpressed holiday design (but without the personalization – this version below is not letterpressed and is available at cardstore.com):

This is a very nice, affordable version of the card, but the texture of the original letterpressed logs and brick is what makes it truly special. I hope they offer it again this year because the design has really stuck with me (it’s May, and I’m talking about last year’s holiday card. Need I say more?)

Cardstore.com, incidentally, has a really terrific selection of designs and designers, including Dutch Door Press, INK + WIT, PiPo Press and many others. I’m impressed.

As an aside, several years ago I drooled over this PiPo Press rainbow invitation for Elena’s birthday party. Like the holiday card above, the rainbow design has stuck with me for a long time. Isn’t it perfect?

[Handmade Holidays] Holiday Card Round-Up Part 2

I’m kind of a nut about my Christmas cards. And by “nut” I mean “unable to commit to just one design.” For the past several years, I’ve sent out Hello! Lucky or Snow & Graham (or a combination of both) cards for Christmas.  This year is no exception: I have 4 or 5 designs from Hello! Lucky, 3 designs by Snow & Graham and one design from Egg Press (= about 100 cards).

I know. You don’t have to tell me how absurd it is.

So perhaps it won’t surprise you to see that I couldn’t keep today’s Holiday Card round-up to just a handful of designs either.
