About
I get a lot of emails that begin, “Dear Charlotte,” but my name is Molly. How and why this blog is named “Charlotte’s Fancy” is kind of a boring story, so let’s just skip it.
I like a lot of things: stationery, Scandinavian design, toys/books/games that encourage creativity, industrial and package design, candy, dreaming about traveling to new places, and easy craft ideas, to name a few.
I’m also committed to supporting independent artists and their handmade shops and small businesses. You will see that I feature many of them here.
If you want to get in touch with me, including finding me on Twitter and Pinterest, click over to the Contact section.
I’m nice. You’ll like me.
xo,
Molly

I just sent you an email and then headed here to read about you and thought I’d say one more time how much I love your site. Also good luck to your husband on his PhD. When my husband finished his, my mother-in-law conferred me with a PhT, short for Putting Hubby Through. I hope you’ll get yours soon! xo

Dear Molly:
You and I must have been born around the same time, to parents with the same kind of styles because you visual nostalgia is very similar to mine. I was browsing you website while working on a project for my daughters room. I am trying to recreate a tablet with a measuring tape to record her growth that my mother made. It was a giraffe she painted and decorated with other materials such as fabric, ribbon and lace. It was my favorite thing and now it visually defines the 70’s for me in my memory. I will show it to you when I finish it.
best and congrats on such a gorgeous website.

Molly, have you thought about putting CF on Facebook? I get email updates from Charlottes’ which I love but I am on a Facebook such a lot …

Hi Jacqui – I’ve thought about it, but haven’t been quite willing to make the leap (yet). I’d be more inclined to put Pushing Papers on Facebook instead (particularly since it’s a blog and a shop). Thanks for the suggestion – I need to think about it some more.

Hi Molly,
I was looking for some ideas to re-decor my study corner and i came across your website.
I am from India and i have recently given in to my urge to collect crafty stuff and try my hand at making some decor items too. I am a student so i hardly get time off, but i am trying my best.
Love the effort you put in your work.
P.S – i got so many ideas for my room…can’t wait to get started.
Thanks a ton..
Lovey
